I purchased this cat bed because my daughter noticed her cat, Piper, was only sleeping on very soft pillows or knitting. My daughter thought Piper was being troubled by arthritis, so she asked for this cat bed for her birthday. After plugging it in, she put a treat on it, and Piper tentatively tried the bed. She has been on it almost constantly since! I'm happy with my purchase, and my daughter is very happy too.

I hesitated to buy for months. It seemed expensive but I finally gave in and my cats are glad I did. They love it. I always have one sleeping in it. I have some larger cats (20 lbs) and would love if there was a bigger size for them. Happy I did it.

As a team of cat lovers, we want to help fellow cat parents create a cat-first mattress that helps soothe cats with arthritis. We partnered with vets and veterinary behaviorists to develop Knead Therapeutic Bed to provide warmth, joint support and holistic sleep wellbeing to improve the quality of life for cats with arthritis.
What makes Knead Therapeutic Bed different than other cat beds?
Our bed is made by cat experts who strive to relieve the symptoms of arthritis in cats and improve their quality of life. OrthoShape to conforms cat’s bodies and contour their common sleeping postures, so they feel secure and relaxed. Human grade, high-density memory foam cradles and provides orthopedic support and relieves pressure on arthritic joints. How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 1-2 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
- Press the button once to activate continuous heat mode: orange indicator light
- Press the button twice to activate the 4-hour heat mode: white indicator light
- Press the button three times to activate the 8-hour heating mode: blue indicator light
- Press the button four times to turn the heat off
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, at any time, to enter the herbal therapy setting: red indicator light
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I wash and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
- The cover is fully washable and will remain in perfect condition for about 40 washes.
- Unzip the outer cover, and wash in a laundry bag in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Line dry.
- Do NOT tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.The foam mattress is water-resistant and can be wiped with a wet cloth.
