I bought the bed because I noticed my 18yr old cat starting to favor one of her front legs/paw. I worried that she wouldn’t like it. I had bought other beds before and she did not like them. Waste of money. This one was a bit pricier and I hesitated. I noticed her limping more and decided to get it. I SHOULD HAVE DONE IT SOONER!!! I put it in her regular spot and within an hour she was using it. She doesn’t move from the bed! Now I’m worried it’s too good. lol. But I’m happy she is now resting comfortably. Only suggestion is I wish it was a bit bigger. But, my cat loves it. Thank you!

We bought this for our little old lady Jaina (white and gray) who is 19. She was having some trouble jumping, so we thought this couldn't hurt. She loves this bed. She took to it almost immediately, and if she's napping, it's in this bed. Well, MJ (black) who is 16 *also* loves it and will get in it any chance he can. He's bullied her out of it a few times, which isn't great, so we came to the site to buy a second one for him... but it's currently sold out. Absolutely 100% recommend this product and can't wait to get a second.
The *only* downside is that when the heating element is off, the button can still get hot, so we usually unplug it from the outlet if we're going to be out of the house for an abundance of caution.

My 15 1/2 year old loves this bed. It took him many weeks but now he spends a lot of time on it. He is a large cat (15lbs) and I wasn't sure if he would be comfortable on it but he enjoys it! The cover also washes well - quick cycle and laid flat to dry.

How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 1-2 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
- Press the button once to activate continuous heat mode: orange indicator light
- Press the button twice to activate the 4-hour heat mode: white indicator light
- Press the button three times to activate the 8-hour heating mode: blue indicator light
- Press the button four times to turn the heat off
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, at any time, to enter the herbal therapy setting: red indicator light
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I wash and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
- The cover is fully washable and will remain in perfect condition for about 40 washes.
- Unzip the outer cover, and wash in a laundry bag in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Line dry.
- Do NOT tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.The foam mattress is water-resistant and can be wiped with a wet cloth.
