Normally, I wouldn't spend this much for a cat bed because I'm disabled myself. Having the test period got me to give the bed a try because I wouldn't be draining my savings on something Cayenne would ignore.
We had it less than a day before I moved my savings over to cover it. I turned around and saw him rolled over on his back in a full sprawl in it. That was the moment I said: "Yep. There goes that money."
My baby is turning 12 this year and lost both his big brothers this past October. His arthritis is getting treated with monthly shots and heated pads under towels. One of his aunts just got a young cat who attacks him on sight when he just wants a friend. That means we spend more time back in the rooms away from his favorite windows. I wanted him to have something that made him feel comfortable because he used to sleep curled up with his brothers. He's slept on it every night since its unboxing and he's even started playing more energetically.

I have a 9 year old cat and noticed he is moving a little slower lately so I thought this bed would be so nice for him. He did lay in it once but, that was it and I had it for him for about 2 weeks and he just wasn't interested. My daughter has an 11 year old cat and she loves to snuggle under anything warm so I gave it to her and her kitty absolutely loves it!! I guess it depends on the cat. My cat has to be on top of me or right next to me and I didn't fit in his bed! LOL I am glad my grandkitty loves it so much!

What makes Knead Therapeutic Bed different than other cat beds?
Our bed is made by cat experts who strive to relieve the symptoms of arthritis in cats and improve their quality of life. How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 1-2 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
- Press the button once to activate continuous heat mode: orange indicator light
- Press the button twice to activate the 4-hour heat mode: white indicator light
- Press the button three times to activate the 8-hour heating mode: blue indicator light
- Press the button four times to turn the heat off
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, at any time, to enter the herbal therapy setting: red indicator light
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I wash and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
- The cover is fully washable and will remain in perfect condition for about 40 washes.
- Unzip the outer cover, and wash in a laundry bag in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Line dry.
- Do NOT tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.The foam mattress is water-resistant and can be wiped with a wet cloth.
