Our kitty likes the Knead bed. He has chronic kidney disease and arthritis and is pretty picky. I put the bed down, turned on the heat and walked away. He checked it out on his own and decided he liked it. He sleeps well on it and it seems to make him feel good. The heat is just right, keeps him warm but not too hot. There are two settings, 4 hour and 8 hour. We do the 4 hour at night as the light for that is red and doesn't disturb our sleep. The cover fit is very snug, but it can be removed. We cover with some pillowcases so if he has a hairball we can just swap those into the laundry and not have to pull the actual cover.

My 20 years old loves it!
My cat loves it and demands it to be on, all the time! All it took is to unpack the bed and put him on it, that's it, it is his body part now he is constantly attached to it. I will be getting another one for sure! I don't really know if he has issues or not, but it definitely makes him warm and cozy.
The only ask I would have on how to improve it, maybe make another one but bigger? My guy is not chubby by any means but he is rather big and I also have a MaineCoon (which is really big).

I have four cats and made the mistake of ordering just one Knead bed. I can only get photos of two at a time because they keep taking turns on it. Wherever I move the bed, they follow, which tells me they really love it. The gentle warmth and the way it hugs them are a hit. I’ve only turned the heat on a few times since it’s not that cold yet, but they still nap there all day. With winter coming, I’m buying another—maybe two.

I never leave reviews, but this bed deserves one. I’ve bought cat trees and towers my cats ignore, yet all three are obsessed with the Knead Cats therapeutic bed. They actually wrestle for it. The soft, supportive shape makes them melt into it and you can see them relax the second they settle. My orange cat tries to claim it as his throne while the other two take turns easing him out. It hits that sweet spot of comfort and security and has become the clear favorite in my house.
If you’re on the fence, just do it! And if you have multiple cats, get more than one or you’ll be breaking up cuddle fights all day.

How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 1-2 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
- Press the button once to activate continuous heat mode: orange indicator light
- Press the button twice to activate the 4-hour heat mode: white indicator light
- Press the button three times to activate the 8-hour heating mode: blue indicator light
- Press the button four times to turn the heat off
- Press and hold the button for 3 seconds, at any time, to enter the herbal therapy setting: red indicator light
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I wash and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
- The cover is fully washable and will remain in perfect condition for about 40 washes.
- Unzip the outer cover, and wash in a laundry bag in cold water on a gentle cycle.
- Line dry.
- Do NOT tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.The foam mattress is water-resistant and can be wiped with a wet cloth.
