I got this bed for my 13 y/o kitty with stiff hips. At first, she didn't seem all that interested in it (not really surprised, she's particular about what she likes and has never been a "cat bed" fan), but her sister (also 13 y/o) jumped right into it and hasn't left. She is there morning, noon, and night, only taking a break when my lap is an option. And now her sister, the original recipient of the bed, has taken to it. Looks like a second Knead bed will be needed in our home. There really does seem to be something about the design that makes kitties super comfortable in it; there are some very deep sleeps happening!

My 8 year old Rescue came to me this past December 29th when she picked me out to take her home to her forever home… she came with chronic arthritis and somehow knew I suffer from the same thing! She’s simply amazing and I’m thrilled she loves two of her three orthopedic arthritis pads.. she hasn’t claimed her original sleeping box/blanket replacement quite yet.. however the other two she absolutely loves… the third one will come with time… if your cat suffers from arthritis please invest in at least one if not multiple ones and your cat will love you back for it even more than they already do! One of my cats claimed the bed as soon as I took it out of the box. Once he discovered the heat settings it became his go to spot in the house. My other cat expressed some interest but didn’t seem to want to take his brother’s bed so I purchased a second. Once I placed it in a usual sleeping area, he took right to it. We purchased the large. If you have big cats like me, the large is necessary, but it won’t be large enough for them to sleep together. We’ve had them for a few weeks. My cats are 16 and 12 years old. I have them running around a bit more. I think the beds are providing joint relief.

My husband bought one of these (heated) for our older girl who has arthritis and she sleeps on it every night. She doesn't even sleep with us any more she's so comfortable in her new bed!
One of our other girls is 7 and so we decided to buy her the heated large bed. It's HUGE! She loves it. She spends all day in it in my husband's office while she supervises him. This is definitely more for a larger cat, but she loves it just fine.
If you have the money, I HIGHLY recommend this bed!

How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 3-4 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
The bed warms to a safe cat-friendly 104°F (40°C) within 3 - 4 minutes, with smart controls to prevent overheating.Settings:
- 4-Hour Heating Mode (Red Indicator): Press the button once: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 4 hours.
- 8-Hour Heating Mode (Blue Indicator): Press the button twice: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 8 hours.
- Therapy mode (Green Indicator): The 30-minute herbal therapy mode gently heats to 113°F (45°C). When used with the included herbal pads, it delivers targeted warmth to promote blood circulation and relieve arthritis-related discomfort.
Press and hold the button at any time until the green light appears. After 30 minutes, the system will automatically switch to the 4-hour heating mode (red light).

How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I clean and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
Cover: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Line dry. Use a lint roller to remove hair and debris.
Heating Film: Do NOT machine wash. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT tumble dry.
Critical: Avoid using chemical solvents. Specifically, do not use:
- Aromatic Hydrocarbon Solvents
- Ester/Ketone Solvents
- Alcohol Solvents
Memory Foam: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.
Power Cord & Cables: Please keep the cord out of your cat’s reach, as chewing may damage the wire and could be unsafe for your pet.
General Tips:
- Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling or plugging the bed back in.
- Regularly inspect the power cord and heating pad for any signs of damage. If any part is damaged, stop using the product immediately.
