All of her fur comes off of the cover very easily with a lint roller which I really appreciate. She does seem really comfortable when she sleeps on it, but sometimes she chooses to sleep on the floor next to it which drives me crazy.

As you can see, my 13 year old cat gets very comfy on this bed. She’s been gravitating to it more and more every day. She snores louder on it lol. The only thing I’d mention is that Misty is about a 10lb cat and she hangs off it in many positions. Doesn’t stop her but if you have a huge cat you might want to keep that in mind.

Freya has arthritis so bad that she needs multiple medications to manage her pain well enough that she can squat to go to the bathroom, so I figured she needed a bed that relieved pain, not increased it. I got her one of the therapeutic beds, turned on the heat, put a treat on it, and watched as she quickly went over and climbed on the bed. She quickly became so obsessed that I bought a second one for another room she hangs out in a lot. I can tell she’s in less pain and she spends more time in her Knead beds than her previous bed. Amazing, highly recommend!

Neither of my 2 kitties took to the bed immediately. Finally Mocha lay on the white one, and I turned on the heat. She hasn’t hardly left since. I had the same experience with Reef and the black bed. They often switch it up, and they’ll go to the other bed, so it’s not territorial at all. Happy with my purchase — all of us - me, Mocha and Reef!

How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 3-4 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
The bed warms to a safe cat-friendly 104°F (40°C) within 3 - 4 minutes, with smart controls to prevent overheating.Settings:
- 4-Hour Heating Mode (Red Indicator): Press the button once: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 4 hours.
- 8-Hour Heating Mode (Blue Indicator): Press the button twice: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 8 hours.
- Therapy mode (Green Indicator): The 30-minute herbal therapy mode gently heats to 113°F (45°C). When used with the included herbal pads, it delivers targeted warmth to promote blood circulation and relieve arthritis-related discomfort.
Press and hold the button at any time until the green light appears. After 30 minutes, the system will automatically switch to the 4-hour heating mode (red light).
- Power Off: Press the button three times.
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I clean and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
Cover: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Line dry. Use a lint roller to remove hair and debris.
Heating Film: Do NOT machine wash. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT tumble dry.
Critical: Avoid using chemical solvents. Specifically, do not use:
- Aromatic Hydrocarbon Solvents
- Ester/Ketone Solvents
- Alcohol Solvents
Memory Foam: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.
Power Cord & Cables: Please keep the cord out of your cat’s reach, as chewing may damage the wire and could be unsafe for your pet.
General Tips:
- Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling or plugging the bed back in.
- Regularly inspect the power cord and heating pad for any signs of damage. If any part is damaged, stop using the product immediately.
