Two of our cats, both are 10 lbs, love this bed. It was easy to set up, just plug it in, mine included the portion that connects the usb c to the outlet. Our 18 lb cat hasn’t used it yet, this could be an opportunity for Knead to create a larger bed as I think this one might be too small for him. We liked it so much that I purchased a second one within a week of delivery. Too soon to tell how it’s helping our Ellie cat with her arthritis but she sure enjoys the bed. We love our bed but it would be perfection if covers in organic cotton or fleece were offered.

I cohabitate with a 15 year old cat (Milo) who suffers from arthritis. Until I decided to make a Knead purchase, he was spending most of his day on a heating pad which cycles on/off every 15 minutes. Milo took to his new bed instantly, without coaxing. I love that I can cycle the bed on for 4 or 8 hours at a time. I'm pretty sure that Milo adores the controlled temperature (not too hot), that it conforms to his shape, and I'm not reaching across him constantly for buttons. My feelings are slightly hurt because he's not as interested to follow me room to room, my furry familiar. But I know exactly where he is. And I have to say that sleeps contentedly on his new bed. And for that I am so grateful.

It wasn’t an instant hit as she had a different heated bed before which she kept choosing, but once she tried her knead bed she’s not looked back. She’s never looked more comfortable and relaxed. The contours are perfect head props for spying on the birds and squirrels outside.
I will also say, I reached out with a question the other day and I’ve never had such a quick response from a customer service. Our girl cat is happy and I am happy with the purchase.

Bought one last year, Kittilitto loves it; bought a black one this year for Bella, just in time for the Polar Vortex 2026! Both cats are average size, between 10-12 lbs., but both beds are kind of small for them. I know you are planning to make a bigger size, but I’m not buying any more, unless you offer some kind of trade in.

How does it warm up?
Knead Therapeutic Bed is designed to reach its cat-friendly temperature (104F) after a minute or two. Smart electronics detect and maintain this temperature to prevent any injury, which can be caused with higher temperatures. Place your hand on the mattress surface to feel the difference after 3-4 minutes to experience the warmth for yourself.
How do I turn on the heat?
The bed warms to a safe cat-friendly 104°F (40°C) within 3 - 4 minutes, with smart controls to prevent overheating.Settings:
- 4-Hour Heating Mode (Red Indicator): Press the button once: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 4 hours.
- 8-Hour Heating Mode (Blue Indicator): Press the button twice: The bed will heat to 104°F (40°C) and auto shut-off after 8 hours.
- Therapy mode (Green Indicator): The 30-minute herbal therapy mode gently heats to 113°F (45°C). When used with the included herbal pads, it delivers targeted warmth to promote blood circulation and relieve arthritis-related discomfort.
Press and hold the button at any time until the green light appears. After 30 minutes, the system will automatically switch to the 4-hour heating mode (red light).
- Power Off: Press the button three times.
How do I use self-heating herbal pads?
- The 30-minute herbal therapy heats The Bed to 113F to help improve blood circulation and reduce arthritis pain.
- Affix the sticky herbal pads on the back of the mattress cover on the designated circles by turning the mattress cover inside out.
- Remove the herbal pads after every use
How do I clean and care for Knead Therapeutic Bed?
Cover: Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag. Line dry. Use a lint roller to remove hair and debris.
Heating Film: Do NOT machine wash. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Do NOT tumble dry.
Critical: Avoid using chemical solvents. Specifically, do not use:
- Aromatic Hydrocarbon Solvents
- Ester/Ketone Solvents
- Alcohol Solvents
Memory Foam: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not tumble dry, bleach, or dry clean.
Power Cord & Cables: Please keep the cord out of your cat’s reach, as chewing may damage the wire and could be unsafe for your pet.
General Tips:
- Ensure all components are completely dry before reassembling or plugging the bed back in.
- Regularly inspect the power cord and heating pad for any signs of damage. If any part is damaged, stop using the product immediately.
